This piece of original art, not posted as part of the webcomic but included in the Year 1 book, is part of the Christmas Vacation 2006 storyline. When we decided to do Christmas at midnight (because, hey, we were up) those of us who'd flown in hadn't had a chance to wrap our gifts so we just bundled everything in what we could find and passed them out downstairs. It's these kinds of little moments that make for cherished family memories.
